Rachel Lefrançois

Coordinator, Transition & Sustainable Development

Rachel supports initiatives and projects in all strategic areas of the organization: Research and actionable tools; Mobilization and capacity building; Positioning in local, national and international markets; Synergies and collaboration. Among other things, Rachel provides leadership for the continuous improvement of the Mapping of the Low Carbon Economy Ecosystem in Quebec.

Rachel holds a professional master's degree in sustainable development - Circular Economy Option from Polytechnique Montreal and a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering. She brings to the table her understanding of the risks and impacts to be considered for a successful transition as well as her great interest in contributing to the acceleration of the transition to a low-carbon future, as evidenced by her master's project: "The role of recycling in mitigating the environmental and geopolitical impacts related to the exponential demand for critical raw materials".
